What I learned with the "Living Together" Project- Real Life Examples
1. I learned that teamwork and collaboration is crucial to the success of a project.
In a real life setting, such as an operating room in a hospital, teamwork and collaboration
is crucial to both the patient's safety and survival. One surgeon cannot handle a patient on their own. A team of surgeons and assistants is required for the operation to be successful. Also, everyone on the team must listen to each other, be open to ideas and suggestions, and knowledgeable of the goal and be willing to achieve it.
2. I learned that you have know your goal, and then work towards it.
If you are thinking of starting a small business, having goals is all-important. Goals help you to stay on track, motivate you to work harder, and to help you measure your progress, successes, and failures. An aspiring businessman or businesswoman needs to know their goals when creating a small business because without them, you can't control the future of the business. You must first know your goal in broad detail, and then set out to accomplish it.
3. I learned that procrastination is not an option.
In college, many important tests and exams are distributed throughout the years. In many of these tests, thorough studying is required in order to get a good grade on them. It is a wonderful idea to study over a long time, learning and remembering things with each day, but if you study large quantities of information for several hours the night before the test, you are less likely to remember that information on the test. Procrastination may seem like it makes life easier, but it actually makes life harder. Procratination is not a valid option for success.
